Summer flew by, and with the kids back in school, we're inviting you to a relaxed, family-friendly gathering to ease into the new school year.
Join us at the Henderson Horseshoe Picnic Shelter for an informal meetup with fellow parents, grandparents, and community members.
Bring your kids along - there's a playground to keep them entertained while we share ideas, discuss the upcoming school year, and answer any questions you might have about everything from Parent Councils to the role of the School Board.
Jeff Park, Executive Director of the Alberta Parents Union, will be there to help you navigate these topics.
It's a great opportunity to meet Jeff, ask your questions, and voice any concerns you have.
We'll have coffee, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages, but feel free to bring a picnic lunch if you'd like.
There's no formal agenda - just a chance to come together, connect, and support each other as we all gear up for the school year ahead.
You don't have to arrive right at the start time either - you can come and go any time between 3:30 pm and 6:30 pm.
